The entire collection is designed so that you can easily transition between cycling mode and lifestyle mode.The 1+1 model constitutes of one pair of haute couture leggings and a pair of detachable mini shorts. It is primarily intended for beginner cyclists who would like to feel the ultimate protection of professional cycling shorts and at the same time seamlessly transition to any scenario in day-to-day life. When we started Jelenew we decided that it was a brand designed for women. At the same time, we also decided that cycling should be part of everyday life, instead of being a seperate part of life. While researching how to meet the needs of the professional community for the ultimate cycling functionality, we also focused on the versatile needs of women in their day-to-day life. We hope all women can effortlessly enjoy the joy of cycling at their own pace and incorporate it into their lifestyle. Our original motivation was to apply the versatile design in cycling apparel to people's daily lives, to design products that are suitable for both urban settings and outdoors, and to bring the sports and cycling culture into the lives of urbanites through this movement.
When we started Jelenew we decided that it was a brand designed for women. At the same time, we also decided that cycling should be part of everyday life, instead of being a seperate part of life. While researching how to meet the needs of the professional community for the ultimate cycling functionality, we also focused on the versatile needs of women in their day-to-day life. Jelenew and Stéphane Rolland explore a new future in sports and high fashion together with a co-branded collection. This is the first crossover collaboration between top sports technology and haute couture dresses.
Stéphane Rolland is a french couturier, one of just 18 fashion designers based in Paris and nominated by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture as “Grand Couturier,” which also allows his fashion house's collections to officially be called haute couture. At the age of 20 Rolland joined Balenciaga and within a year was promoted to the position of Creative Director of menswear and international licenses. In 2006 and 2007, he was nominated for the prestigious Molière awards and became an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival. This collaborative collection combines Jelenew's unique couture craftsmanship and aesthetics with Stephane Rolland's signature modern art style to create cutting-edge women's cycling pants. Jelenew and Stephane Rolland explore future trends with an open mind, applying new techniques and art to the sportswear field, and bringing a new life to the professional cycling apparel industry. The collection is a tribute to the sportswear and high fashion industries, showcasing both brands' aesthetic artistry and craftsmanship.

amfAR (the Foundation for AIDS Research, also known as the American Foundation for AIDS Research) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting AIDS research and raising public awareness of the philanthropic aspects of AIDS treatment. During the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Jelenew joined forces with amfAR to help the cause of global AIDS research and became the only sports brand in amfAR's history of signature sponsorship.On the evening of May 26th in France, the Jelenew x Stephane Rolland cycling pant-dress new look, created by Jelenew and Stephane Rolland for amfAR was auctioned off alongside the best pieces from world’s top labels such as Oscar de la Renta, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, and other leading brands, raising money for the global fight against AIDS.
